California Bill Seeking to Ban Dangerous Food Additives Continues to Advance Through Legislature
California bill AB 418 will be taken up by the California Senate on August 14. The bill is seeking to ban several harmful chemicals from use in food in the state including red dye number 3, brominated vegetable oil, titanium dioxide, propyl paraben, and potassium bromateā¦
I don’t normally vibe with what California does, but if they pass this bill, it will be a win for the citizens of the state. Hopefully the federal government or at least other states will follow suit and look to ban some of these dangerous chemicals that are banned in other countries but not our own.
