How To Do Your First Pullup From A Former Fat and Out of Shape Kid Who Could Never Do One

Pullups are a great upper body exercise that I love doing every week. In my opinion there is no greater back exercise! However, many people struggle with them – myself included at first. In this video I go over a few tips that can help you get your first pullup or increase the number of reps you can do if you are already able to do one. With consistency, and doing the things I mention in this video, you will get there. If I can do it, anyone can.

Spring Garden Projects | What Can You Grow This Year? How You Can Save Money and Live Healthier Now

I wanted to share what spring garden projects we have going on this year and what our plan is for the garden. We are by no means experts in this area and still have a lot to learn, but we have had some success and continue to learn and grow. Eventually we would love to be able to grow most of our own fruits and vegetables and not need to buy much from the store. It’s a work in progress, but we are enjoying the journey. I hope this inspires you to start your own garden or expand it or even to grow some things indoors if you don’t have outside space. As Mark from Self Sufficient Me says, you don’t have to be self sufficient in everything, but try to be self sufficient in one thing.

Potential Cancer Causing Chemical Present In Oat Based Cereal – Is Your Favorite Brand Safe?

Oats and oat based products often contain glyphosate, a chemical that is the main ingredient in round up. Oats are sprayed with round up prior to harvesting to dry them up. The EPA says that the levels are not dangerous to our health, but EWG begs to differ. In my opinion, we should all strive to reduce or eliminate the amount of chemicals and additives in our food as much as possible. One simple way you can do this with oats and oat based products is to buy glyphosate free oats. Yes, this means you may have to give up cheerios and those yummy Nature Valley granola bars. But this is your long term health we are talking about. Health is wealth! The choice is yours, but knowledge is power and if you vote with your dollars by choosing healthier options consistently, companies will be forced to change to remain in business.
