Added sugar is in many products that you might not even realize. In this video I have a few ziploc bags containing the amount of added sugar in various foods and beverages, some of which might shock you! If you consume any of these it would be best to eliminate or substitute them if you can. Added sugar consumption can lead to a host of health problems and stubborn belly fat if left unchecked. The Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommends no more than 10% of your daily calories coming from added sugar each day, which is around 50 grams if you consume 2000 calories. Make sure you keep this video in mind when you go shopping and plan your meals, read those food labels and improve your health!
